API Documentation

When I try to open the API Documentation for figuring out more about the object definitions, It came out a text box(check the photo)
I wanna know what should I do about it and why it happened?

I checked the function in several versions but I couldn't reproduce the issue. Can you tell me a little more details?

Which version of Blue Prism are you using? Click "?" at the top right corner and select "About". e.g., 6.6.0.15260
What message did you get in the details page?

I did take some research on our support database but there was not such an issue previously. I tried to replicate the same issue in v.6.6.0 but I couldn't make it.

So, I don't have a clear answer but please try the followings.

"System.Exception: Cannot create ActiveX component" is from an message from .Net Framework which indicates some kind of permission issue. Based on the information, why don't you open Blue Prism ("C:\Program Files\Blue Prism Limited\Blue Prism Automate\Automate.exe") as Administrator and try it again.
If it doesn't help, I guess the last option would be uninstall and install Blue Prism again.

FYI
I tried 4 different environment (vmware, VirtualBox, local PC, Azure) and all of the works fine. If you have any other environment, please try it in those environment. If the issue happens in the particular environment, it can be permission related issue.

Hi Yujian,

Since the error shows as an ActiveX object creation problem. It makes me wonder if perhaps your user may not have all the necessary permissions on this system. When you perform this action, Blue Prism is trying to open up a Browser object to display the VBO information. Perhaps the user that the Blue Prism process is running as does not have the appropriate ActiveX permissions? You may want to check your Operating System version, your user definition (permissions) to see if this may be the problem.
