Hey,

We have one process, running at same time whit 24 machines, and sometimes in the accion "Get Locked Items" appear error:"ERROR: Internal : Transaction (Process ID 81) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction."

Is it possible to avoid this mistake? Which is the motive?

I've never used the ""Get Locked Items"" action - so I'd be interested to know how your work queue logic works f that action is part of your solution. If you use the process logic we recommend in the Process Templates/Lifecycle Orientation training - errors using work queues should not be an issue. The only work queue issues I have know of in the last several years since they were introduced (in version 3.5) were related to putting unique data in tags (making the database inefficient) or database becoming enormous (due to leaving all logging on and not archiving/deleting logs).

Hi Denis,
I've come across the same error message sporadically when it encounters the ""Get Next Item"" action. I've only seen it twice and the process has been running for several months with very little issues and we don't have any other processes running on this resource since it runs throughout the day. Would you have any insight into what may be causing this? We are currently running BP V5.12, was the database issue you mentioned above resolved in later releases? Thanks in advance
