Even after locating the .exe file of Microsoft edge from application modeller, it is not launched. However, v6.2 does provide a new spy mode called UIA, which is like a more modern version of AA mode. If you launched Edge as if it was a Windows app, then you might be able to use UIA mode to spy elements.
