Hello everyone,

A quick question. Has anyone tried to deploy a resource in AWS (Workspaces; non-stop on-line) and had an issue where if there is no open & live connection with a client BluePrism is able to automate applications even using keystrokes but NOT using mouse.
This seems to be a strange one as it is not even causing an exception that is unable to move it/register mouse clicks.

Have you had similar problems in the past?

What is the OS of the workspace? Windows 7(Server 2012r2) or Windows 10(Server2016)? What at do you mean by no ""open & live connection with the client""? How are you trying to send mouse clicks? Have you activated the Application Window?
With some more information I believe I can help you with your issue.

Hi Mwrig072,

We are experiencing a similar issue to what was described by the OP.
The issue is that the Workspace works fine as a runtime resource when connected to (either by the AWS Workspaces software running on another machine, or by a hardware terminal/zero client, but when disconnected from it fails. In this state the workspace is still running and functional, but not visible anywhere. Actions that require mouse input, like clicking the close button on an application window, will fail. Other actions seem to proceed without issues.

Thanks,
mlong
