Smart-Card or Virtual Smart-Card usage in BP RPA solutions

Hello,

Has anyone found a solution to use Smart-Cards (or to be precise a Virtual Smart Card) within Blue Prism RPA (On-Prem) solutions? And by the solutions term - it covers both: architectural (when robot is logged in) part and automations for robots (smartcard usage to access biz-apps).

Currently, as per Blue Prism documentation, it is mandatory for robot accounts to have "Smart Card Exception" policy applied in order to be logged in by Login_VM process through :8181

We managed to add Virtual Smart Card to a robot account, but now facing a wall how to use it to login robot to VM via standard login agent steps.

When you add the client or software for the SmartCard in a machine using Login Agent, the Credential Provider changes and blocks Blue Prism.

Please look at the following KB Article, "How to set the Login Agent Credential Provider."
