Depending on the spec of the machine, at some point its ability to run the BPServer service will degrade if the load keeps increasing. 100:1 is the recommendation for the smooth running of a typical application server. With a more powerful machine, better bandwidth, less active resources/clients etc, probably the limit will be higher. It might be worth reaching out to your BP representative (account manager or delivery enablement manager) for a more detailed discussion.
