topic application - Not responding in Product Forum

Hi ,

I have this issue, when BP run into a stage which simply click a button in SAP (SAP will execute something) , for some reason, SAP keeps running without responding on the same screen when you click the button. The process is stuck at the click stage, freezed >30 minutes.

How can you force the process to raise an exception after some time without responding at this click stage?

Thanks a ton,

More recent versions of BP…

More recent versions of BP have an 'application timeout' setting in Application Modeller. It's intended to limit any 'non-response' time you might encounter. But SAP in general responds well, so I'm surprised to hear of such behaviour. It's worth manually simulating the actions of the object to see if the system still hangs. If it does, then it's likely to be a SAP issue. If it doesn't, then it could be the due to the way in which the object is interacting with SAP - possibly you'll need to use some global mouse keys/clicks to make the interaction 'more human'.
