Using Data OLEDB to extract X rows from a spreadsheet?

Hello,

I am trying to use the Data OLEDB object to extract rows from excel - the reason I am not using Excel VBO is due to pop-ups within the excel files which cause this standard practice to be slightly unstable.

I have set up a process to extract all rows from excel using the Data OLEDB actions, however one particular file is throwing a System Out of Memory exception due to the amount of data in it - so I was hoping to extract say 500 rows at a time, cleanse the data, then loop back around.

Can someone please advise the next steps towards achieving this?

Hi Chloe,

Are You using "Show" action when operating with Excel VBO? We had similar problem with Excel pop-ups and disabling visibility of Excel worked for us.
