I suppose if the run mode settings are satisfied, the exact same runtime resources (identical port) would be run, right?

I need one process to run in the background on the same machine and in the same time as other processes.
Is it even possible?

Hello, it is possible. There is a section on run modes in section 12 of your Foundation Training course document.
The two sessions on the one machine will use two Blue Prism licenses, and one of the resources would need to be started using a different port (using the /Port switch).
