Hi,

I was trying to read and write data on excel, however the excel is in citrix environment where all the spy modes are not working (including Region mode). I am able to open the excel file through a link in the citrix environment, but as the file is not having any fixed file location, I am not able to use excel vbo too. Are there any work around to use excel in the citrix environment?

------------------------------
Regards,
Vishal Sinha
------------------------------
Hi, Vishal,

well, this is definitely challenging. You need to use shortcuts and keyboard strokes and clipboard. So for example to go to cell A1 you need to send Ctrl+g and then paste a cell reference in dialog window. Furthermore, you have to use action Global Send Key Event as Global Send Key does not work, etc. It is really challenging. Try to investigate following - copying the excel file to your local directory and work with excel in local directory through standard excel vbo. Then copy excel back to citrix. This is the way which we always tried to achieve and explain our clients how much it would save.

Regards,

Zdenek

------------------------------
Zdeněk Kabátek
Head of Professional Services
NEOOPS
Europe/Prague
------------------------------
