MS Excel VBO show action

Hi,

If MS Excel application is not installed in our windows but having web MS office application open in browser and we try to use MS Excel VBO to open .xlsx file, will it choose web application and show us the output or will it throw exception?
Is bot solely depends on root exe application or will it try to look for other ways to execute flow?

Any comments are most welcomed

The MS Excel VBO cannot be used with the browser-based version of Excel. It only works with the locally installed Excel client. If you need to perform Excel actions w/o having the actual software installed locally you should look at the Microsoft 365 - Excel VBO which utilizes Microsoft's Graph API to work with Excel.
