Unable to Spy with chrome browser

Hi All,

My Blueprism version 6.4.2 and i have chrome plugin installed. But still i am unable to spy.
Are there any setting to be done at the system level?

No KIran.
It should work straight away if you would have launched your application using Chrome from Application Modeller.

Can You show the screenshot of your chrome browsee while trying to spy ?
1- Does it only spy the outer layer ?
2- do you get any error ?
3- are u able to even spy the outer layer ??
Based on these responses, can suggest troubleshooting steps.

To begin to check if your version of Chrome is the version supported by your Blue Prism, in your case is this:

If you using the most recent Chrome is normal to have the type of problems, after getting that correct version of Chrome, please make sure that Chrome gets updated automatically.

When running a SPY mode in Chrome to will see the is load in the Chrome Console (Press F12 in Chrome) window.

The error red is not related to the Plugin, it is just for some content on the website. So don't worry.

@Luis Lopez - Kindly confirm few things for compatibility in general -

1) If my BP version is 6.4.2, can i upgrade the extension version to 2.0.0.1. Is is compatible and is it possible? I am asking this because I read few comments that extension 2.0.0.1 is much more stable

2) If we cannot disable chrome auto upgrade then how to ensure things will not break with chrome version increasing every week or so.
