Right Way to Update DFD

Hello,

kind of a simple question regarding DFD update, but I need to be sure for the next steps. I have already trained 150+ pages with a certain document form definition. What is the right way to update the DFD to include one extra field/region without losing the training already done? One more question, I have a Multline field and when there is a new line Decipher does not put a space between words ex.

UNABLE TO

TEST

is recognized by Decipher like : UNABLE TOTEST. Will the issue be resolved by me, manually adding a space to UNABLE TOTEST--> UNABLE TO TEST?

Hi Michalis,

Adding a new field shouldn't impact your existing training, unless the new region interacts with an existing trained field. For example, if you wanted to split a region from 1 field into 2 fields where it's already trained as 1 field. By all means export your current training data as a safeguard.

I'm assuming you've selected the flag for this field to be multi-line?

thanks for the answer. Should I restart the dfd in order to include the new field in it? If yes, then I restart with OCR, Capture or verify option?

Yes I have selected the flag for MultLine for that field.

Hi Michalis,

With respect to the multi-line field separation.

Is the lack of line splitting in the data output to Blue Prism or just in the verification screen?

I can't think of a reason for the line split to be removed if you have it set as multi-line, except that it may just appear that way in the verification screen.

If the data output is incorrect, please raise a ticket and submit your DFD so we can review it in more detail.
