What could be possible reasons why sometimes batches remain in the "User Uploading..." status? I am not doing anything differently, yet sometimes the batches remain in "User Uploading..." status.

Hi!

I guessed you might be seeing "User Uploading..." from Batches screen under Admin....

In normal cases, if you have large batches of images/files getting uploaded to Decipher, this message will take longer to get refreshed/changed. It is possible this could be performance related due to large batches or slow system/network....

Have you ever observed this happening with a single image uploaded in one batch from only one client machine ? If this never happened to this scenario, then likely you should monitor for more external details such as number of simultaneous uploads, number of files per batch getting uploaded and file size for each image...

There is best practice documentation for Decipher you can take reference to once you confirmed it was related to performance....

Henry

Hi Meg,

This will be because the action "Submit Batch" hasn't been used for the respective batch. Check your process to ensure this is being included for every batch and that no errors or incorrect process paths are resulting in created batches missing this action.

Thanks

Ben
