Unable to spy any new Elements with Win 32 Windows identification

Hi everyone,

I am currently doing the Foundation Training but cannot proceed in Section 6 since I cannot identify any elements(Pop-up is attached). Could you help me here?

Hi Lotta,

Usually if we try spying the Pop-ups in the same object, we will get error while spying. So as a workaround, please try creating a separate object to handle Pop-up. Refer the below steps.

Create a New Object.

Choose Application type as "Windows Application"
Select "My application will already be running - I want to attach an existing instance"
Enter the window title with wildcard (windows title of the popup)
Enter the window's process name. (Get it from the task manager)

Create an action to attach the popup window.
Now you should be able to spy the pop-up without any issues.
