Send Email using PoP3/SMTP for Outlook

Hi! We have a scenario to work with PoP3/SMTP. First, we configured the outlook server. Then we are trying to send an email using SMTP configuration of Outlook, but facing this error,

It looks like the configuration is probably off I would suggest asking your IT department to confirm the smtp server, it can often look different to the default server address e.g. "smtpesipapp.corp.*******.com"

Check the ports with the IT team as well as the default port for smtp is 25 which is usually what people stick with, also consider if SSL is required.

Hi thrivikram,

As Michael O'Neil mentioned you might need to check with your IT, in addition to that based on the action I used to configure either smtp or pop3 not both. It might work In general i use only SMTP for sending message so I was little wary about using SMTP vs both(SMTP,POP3)
