Hi,

What is the difference between Decipher IDP and Document Automation?

The company who have 1 RPA license can process 4 k page per month with Decipher IDP. Can the company who have 1 RPA license process any document with Document Automation?

SS&C Blue Prism offers two Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions: Decipher IDP and Document Automation. Both are used for document processing and have their own specializations based on your individual use case.

Decipher IDP:

· Decipher IDP is typically used for extracting structured and unstructured data from documents. It's designed to automate the data extraction from various document types, such as invoices, purchase orders, contracts, etc.

· It leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to recognize and extract data fields from documents, making it useful for automating data entry tasks.

· It is particularly valuable when dealing with semi-structured or unstructured documents where data might be in different formats and locations.

Document Automation:

· Document Automation enables the extraction of handwritten or machine-printed data from images with an accuracy of 98% or greater to provide immediately usable structured data.

· It specializes in low-quality documents or machine-printed documents that can’t be read by traditional OCR/RPA technology because somewhere along the way, their data got compromised, typically due to faxing or scanning.

· It can forward data to any workflows or BPM solutions.

· It provides the options for humans to review based on a client-decided threshold prior to intake.

As for your question about RPA (Robotic Process Automation) licenses:

· Decipher IDP license restrictions are 4000 pages per robot license per month. So, if someone has ten licenses, they can process 40,000 pages monthly

· Document Automation are separate from the RPA license and is priced per page extracted.
