Microsoft Edge based Web Application

Hello all,

I am trying to automate our web based internal application (which runs under edge) and I have some problems.

1. I can launch ms edge as an application with "C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:Appsfolder\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe!MicrosoftEdge"
2. I can attach "microsoftedgecp" with specified name of tab

3. I cannot navigate
4. I cannot use Browser mode or HTML mode

Can anyone help?

What version of Blue Prism are you using?

BP Version 6.7.1

okaay, so BP does not support now edge.. I can switch to chrome, but there are no interaction between chrome and BP.. I will check it one more time and create a new topic.

Have you installed the Blue Prism browser extension for Chrome? You can install it from the Chrome web store here:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/blue-prism-browser-extens/nadpbbdaaifbaebnniobcfpiifbfokij

With the browser extension, Blue Prism 6.7.1 is compatible with Chrome version 80.0.3987.106.

Actually yes.

BP Version 6.7.1.21315
MS .Net 4.7
Chrome Version 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chrome Extension 2.1.0

And I cannot change chrome version due to company policies

HI Arten,

It will work irrespective of any chrome version. I am using 6.4.1 with latest chrome version. Try to restart your server and then start using it. Because may be someone might run any process from the control room. Then it will not work.

I have installation only on my laptop anf arter restart I have same issues.

I cannot access document, I cannot navigate to any url..
I tried web based app and win app mode.. with --forcerenderer-accessibility and without..
