Auto archiving doesn't work (BP System - Archiving)

Hello,

We are facing issue with Automatic mode of archiving database, the manual archving works fine. I would be grateful for a hint whete to look for the reason.

Michal. You have not given any detail as to why Automatic mode does not work, so this is difficult to answer. I will suggest a few things that you can try.

Automatic mode requires you to define a Runtime Resource that actually does the archiving. It will do archiving when it is free (i.e. not running a Process).
Are you specifying a working Runtime Resource?
Does the RR have access to the file share for archiving?
If manual mode works, are you selectively archiving certain processes only? If you are not, this could mean there is a very large session log stuck in your database. Auto mode will try to archive anything in the session log table over the number of days old that you specify.

If your problems persists, I would suggest opening a support ticket.
