Blueprism deletes automatically dots in a collection.

Hi all,
i am reading a data table on Firefox and I store it in a collection. The table contains numbers ( read as text) like - 2.345,80 - . When I loop through the collection to retrieve some of these numbers from a column, the output is as follow -2354,80- . It basically eliminates the thousands separator. Is there a way to tell blueprism NOT to do it?
