topic Can runtime resources has Microsoft Windows Server 2016 rather than Windows 10 OS? in Product Forum

Hi,

Can anyone please confirm if using Microsoft Windows Server 2016 on runtime resources would work rather than using Windows 10 OS?

I have few development VDI's and Windows 10 OS is installed on them. Now i want to run processes on runtime machines. But runtime machines don't have windows 10 OS installed and instead client is using Microsoft Windows server. Will this architecture work or any challenges can occur in such a case?

We upgrade all out estate (Runtime resources + Controllers) in October to use Microsoft Windows Server 2016. We had to make a few changes to security configuration settings and a couple of minor changes to processes to get them to work but other than that we had no issues.
