Hi Team,

Can we remove and reinstall Erlang and Rabbit MQ after complete Decipher installation?

Does it require the complete removal of Decipher and reinstall once new Rabbit and Erlang installed?

Hi Tej,

It looks like, Decipher still requires Erlang and Rabbitmq. Refer the below post.

Hi Tejaskumar,

Depending on your version of Decipher there could be a few problems if you don't reinstall Decipher.

For example, when you install the license service, it creates a queue in RMQ for the license details to be shared with the Decipher Server.

Also, with the reinstall, would the server address and log in change for the Decipher processes using RMQ?

On Decipher versions older than 2.3, also ensure all batches have been exported before uninstalling.
