Hello,

Does anyone know the maximum number of dates that can be set for "Other Holidays" in Blue Prism's calendar, or if setting more than that may cause a problem?

Hi Mitsuko,

User-defined holidays in Blue Prism are stored in the database (e.g. BPACalendar, BPAPublicHoliday, etc., tables), as varying types of integer/varchar/etc. data, with multiple table dependencies and keys to track them. While there's no "hard limit" beyond what would be an acceptable amount of data to keep in a live Blue Prism database, it wouldn't be advisable to create a dataset of user-defined holidays that exceed best-practice data storage/rowcount levels.

If the above doesn't address your question, could you please provide an example of how many 'Other Holidays' you would ideally require, and the version of Blue Prism Enterprise you're running?

Hello @steven.boggs ,

I have registered over 700 dates in multiple calendars.
Then, schedules from other multiple calendars that were not expected to run on that day (registered on ’Other Holidays’ in the calendar) were also executed.

This number of date obviously does not put pressure on the database, so I suspect that it is due to system constraints such as Blue Prism's row limit.
