Error while activating chrome browser application after attaching successfully in 7.2.1

Hi All,

Hope you guys well.

I been working on the chrome browser for a while. My bots are working fine in 6.9 version. But when I moved my bots to 7.2.1 and testing bots are getting failed in "Activate application" stage as it didn't bring the chrome application to foreground. Attaching before the activate application has happened successfully. But activate is not working.

I tried re-spying. When I re-spied it worked while testing in designer but when i triggered in machine using resource pc it is giving me an error. Could you please help me out here.

Hi,

There were recent changes with Chrome based browsers. Have you checked this KB article and its related ones to isolate it being the cause to problem : https://support.blueprism.com/en/support/solutions/articles/7000091742-bpe-error-this-extension-was-turned-off-because-it-is-no-longer-supported-when-viewing-browser-extensions ?

Hi @Manohar657,

Please make sure you don’t minimize Chrome before starting the debugging. If you do, it might not work properly.

chrome browser isn't minimized. Its opened on desktop still it isn't activated and giving me the error

Did you try by uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome or chrome extension? If not, please give it a try.
