In 7.3.2, Runtime resource is showing state as Idle but connection is disconnected

Dear Connections,

We have recently upgraded to BP to 7.3.2 and have setup a Runtime Resource in Web Server.

The state of resource is Idle, but connection is disconnected as shown below.

Appreciate any pointers to resolve this issue please. Thanks in advance.

Hi @uncki2 , We faced similar type of issues, Kindly follow below steps :

1. If you are using Azure, Please stop the VM/HVD & start from the backend to start the resource PC automatically.

2. Kindly remap the Resource PC in task scheduler inside the HVD/VM.

3. Always use Login agent when triggering the Bots in respective HVD/VM.

Hello,

I am not sure what 'setup a Runtime Resource in Web Server' means.

We had the same situation with runtime resources showing up in Control but with a small red cross and even though Blue Prism studio seem to work just fine, robot machine refused to work in Control.

In our case the cause of this issue were proxy settings.

LoginAgent and Blue Prism studio use proxy settings differently. We had to create local proxy rules to bypass proxy for the server DNS to make it work again.

Thank you so much for your input.

Our web server is hosting RPA web service URL and its also acting as app server hence BP server service is running as well.

I will try our your suggestions and let you know the outcome soo.
