Hi,

We’ve encountered an unexpected internal error in one of our previously stable processes:

"Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: The message filter indicated that the application is busy. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8001010A (RPC_E_SERVERCALL_RETRYLATER))"

This occurred while executing the Open Workbook stage via the MS Excel VBO object.
Notably:

The process does not currently have a retry mechanism.
When we reattempt the session, the same file opens successfully without any changes.
We haven’t observed any differences in the Excel file itself.

Could you advise on the possible reasons for this sudden error when opening the workbook?

for this there could be multiple situations. we are also facing such issues and this what we found,

1. Bot lost connection with excel

2. Sometime excel file will take bit more amount of time to open , normally 30secs or 60 secs, you can try increasing this in create instance page in VBO object

3. Network related issue and memory issue
