Retrospectively you can roll back your database to a pre-import datetime, for future you could create a release from production that contains all incoming assets as your back out plan.

Hi everyone,

When a release package is deployed to an environment, is there a native way to completely revoke/rollback that entire release?

Currently, I know we can individually compare and redeploy specific Processes or Objects from the history log, but doing this component-by-component can be quite tedious for a large release.

Best regards,

I don't know any native way to roll back releases. What we do when there is a concern about it such as a massive release is that we export the same components in a Back Out Release from the target environment first, and then we import the new release. That way, it is fairly quick to revert.

Thank you for the quick response, Dave 🙂

I was thinking that it would be useful if Release Manager had an option where we could simply select an imported release and revoke or roll it back, rather than having to prepare a separate back out release beforehand.
