Hi Manas, you're right there is no default way to achieve these, and a little creativity may be required.

One possibility for (1) and (2) is to create a new process that runs A or B as a sub-process, depending on the current date. Then schedule the new process to run every day.

Alternatively, add decisions to the start of A and B that check 'is today my day?', with the No branch connected to an End stage. Then have A and B as consecutive tasks in the same daily schedule.

For (3) you could schedule every hour and include a 'has it been 3 hours since I last ran' check at the start of the process that ends the process immediately if the hour is not the 3rd hour.

And if you want to run B every 3 hours and only from the 15th to the end of the month, then you could combine the ideas above.

I appreciate that none of these suggestions are ideal. BP does enable bespoke Calendars, but these are intended for excluding relatively few days from a year (ie holidays) rather than dividing whole months as you require. In theory you could create a '1st to 15th' calendar, but doing so every year would be tedious.

------------------------------
John Carter
Professional Services
Blue Prism
------------------------------
Hi All,

I have below use case to be addressed.Using OOTB Scheduler functionality I don't find a way how to achieve this. I have looked at Dynamic Scheduler from Blue Prism .I couldn't find a resolution with that.

1- Process A will run on RuntimeResource P04 from 1st working day till 10th working day of a month every month

2- Process B will run on RuntimeResource P04 from 15th (mid of month) till end of month every month

3- Process B will run in every 3 hours

Please suggest if there is a way out.

------------------------------
Manas Jena
Sr Analyst
ZimmerBiomet
America/New_York
------------------------------

Hi,

There are 3rd party solutions for that… but it cost next extra money 😕
For example: https://www.rpasupervisor.com

------------------------------
Pavel Král
RPA Specialist
MANN+HUMMEL Service s.r.o
------------------------------
