Best way to read tabular data (into collections) from powerpoint files

All - We have a process which needs to extract data from powerpoint files (Tabular data) and perform certain operations.

What is the best way to read tabular data (possibly into collections) from powerpoint files ? Do we have any other alternative options other than surface automation?

Please share your experience

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by your query, but it looks like you could use the VBA API that Microsoft provides.
