Renaming Resource Pool

Is it possible to rename resource pool?

Currently the only option to do that is to delete the old pool and create the pool with the new name and add each and every resource to it one by one.

Hi Manesh,

Currently there is no possible way to rename the Pool name from the UI. I have tried to change the name by modifying the value in database. however i could find only Unique ID for the Pool name in the resource table. i couldn't find a table that associate the name with Pool ID. if you feel this feature should be included in the product please post the same in Ideas

Check the BPAGroup table -

Select * From BPAGroup G
Inner Join BPATree T On	G.treeid = T.id

All the folder names for processes, work queues, pools, etc. can be found in there.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for the query but the same cannot help in renaming the Pool name. Also this is a backend approach which will not be given to controllers, is there a way we an rename pool group from BP UI?

There is no way you could rename a pool from BP UI.
