Automation for email management software "eGain"

Anyone has any idea how can we read or send email if we have need to automate "eGain", a web based email management software.
can we use SMTP/POP3 email VBO or MS Graph API or any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Hi Jyoti,

You can try checking the REST API's for the eGain : REST API: Main Page (egain.com)

You can automate it using web services feature in Blue Prism.

Microsoft Graph API is only focused on Microsoft products, so you will not be able to use it with eGain specifically. As far as SMTP/POP goes, my understanding is that eGain isn't really a mail server as much as an interaction management and orchestration platform. It doesn't actually send/receive emails, etc. It just front-ends the platforms that do and provides a way to tie things together. That means eGain would be using your existing mails server (ex. MS Exchange). If that is the case, you should be able to use Graph or SMTP/POP with your Exchange server as you normally would. Just make sure you're dealing with accounts that are managed via eGain.

Agreed with @ewilson. E-gain is just the front end of the application and it must be using the existing email servers. You would be requiring the details of them so that Graph API or SMTP/POP can be used for the automation.
