Salesforce APEX Data Loader

Does any one have any idea on Salesforce APEX Data Loader? Do we require any connector to interact this?

The Data Loader is a client application from Salesforce.com for assisting with the bulk loading/exporting of data. As a Windows client application, you install it locally on a Windows machine. There is no specific "connector requirement for using. Just spy the client application, if you're wanting to automate it, and build your model.

Having said that, Salesforce.com does offer a RESTful API known as their Bulk API. This is another option for working with bulk data. The Blue Prism Power Pack for Salesforce.com includes a connector for working with the Bulk API.
