I don't get the idea of Real-time work requests and using workflow systems from LMS

Could anyone please explain them in different way?

Hi @SamLima

The final idea of that is to have a non stop process polling continuously the queue to get new work.

Asking every time for new work to the Queue you avoid having to launch the process from the scheduler and save time and speed when resolving queue items.

Your process should looks like that:

The only way to Complete the process is requesting an stop from the Control Room. If the queue is empty (has no new items) its wait and ask again (The sleep stage)

Hi @SamLima

I don't have nothing for Parent/child relationships, but in the Community you have a lot of thread of this. My recommendation for this is to have a strong exception system to avoid future mismatch problems.

For real-time work request. The diagram that I post can serve as an example. Is the scheme of how you should assemble it.

I have many processes builds in this way and working correctly.
