Blue Prism SDD question

Hello Everyone,

Is it possible in Blue Prism to output a SDD based on the project your working on. UIPath has a way that once you create the bot if you have commented everything correctly you can output a SDD of the project.

Hi Brandon - in a word, no. An SDD should be produced before development starts, not after. In BP delivery methodology the SDD is the mechanism/control gate to define/demonstrate/agree the automation design so that the delivery team know what the automation requirement is.

You're right in that the finished automation may end up a little different from the design (due to unforeseen issues found during delivery) and ideally the design should be tweaked to fit the reality of the final automation.

Hi Brandon,

All design docs should be created before development start and should be reviewed / approved by Stakeholders. if we don't follow this process then will end up with frequent changes in the automation development /testing.
