Foundation Training - Chapter 9.4 - Work Queues Issue

Hi All,

I'm writing once again as I need your help with the foundation training.

In chapters 9.3 and 9.4 there is an introduction to queues and the associated narrative.

The issue I have is with the exercise 9.3.2 which states the below, without providing guidance on how to do it

Despite I followed the remaining steps exactly as stated, I believe this creates an issue when it comes to 9.3.4, where by the way the exercise still doesn't clarify in which part of the process should I add the Note stages

However, the main issue arises when I try to defer the queue. Per below, the "Get Next Item" in Queue Exercises 1 returns nothing

But when I run it, it returns the below

I watched the online training and I modified the Queue Exercises 1 so that it looks like the below. However, the problem still persists

Can you please check and let me know? This training is done on a very pressing timeframe and it's frustrating that I get stuck in seemingly easy points like above.

Hi @Georgios Stakias

The error is telling to you that the column doesn't exists in the collection.

Can you debug the process and check what fields do you have when you execute the "Get Next Item" stage? You need to type the fields exactly as the collection field name.

Validate the Collection [New Item] has the column 'Full-Time' as defined when attempting 'Add To Queue',.

Hi Jayne,
many thanks for your support and the link.
But - in my case - the issue is not the course. I've completed it so far.

The issue is the error message: "Internal : The field "xxxx" doesn't exists within this collection".
I try to get the value of a field out of the collection with "[Data.xxxx]" and then the error message appears.
But in the Collectin "Data" I can see the field "xxxx" as well as a value in that field.
("xxxx" is here a placeholder for "Kundennummer" or " Artikelnummer" or..... as you can see in the Field Column below).

Can you help in that?

Hi @Christian Freichel-Tworeck,

Did you try checking in the debug mode to identify why the data is not coming to the "Data" collection?
If it's coming, then why it is getting refreshed?
Once you get the data in the collection, are you immediately using it or it is getting used in some other page?

the data are in the "Data" Collection - that's the point why I can't understand the error 😞
Here a simple process to demonstrate the issue:

At that point in time the "Data" Collection has the following values:

I try to get the value of "Artikelnummer" in action "Notepad::Write" with:

Any idea what's the problem here?
