Need Help: Extracting Emails from a Specific Outlook Folder in Blue Prism Using "MS Outlook Email VB

Hello Blue Prism Community,

I am new to Blue Prism and currently working with MS Outlook Email VBO to extract emails from a specific Outlook folder. My folder structure is as follows:

Nature → Dealer → Nov (Emails are inside the "Nov" folder)

I need to extract emails from the "Nov" folder where the subject contains "Disbursement_nov".

I see that MS Outlook Email VBO provides multiple actions like:
- Get Received Items (Basic)
- Get Received Items (Expert)
- Get Received Items (Advanced)

However, I am unsure about the correct inputs for these actions. Specifically, I need help with:
- What should I enter in the Folder Name parameter to correctly access the "Nov" folder?
- How do I filter emails so that only those with "Disbursement_nov" in the subject are retrieved?
- Which action (Basic, Expert, or Advanced) is best suited for this case?

Any guidance, examples, or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Good day @vinit598,
Wanted to get a response out to you quickly here while juggling a few things. I have not had a chance to check new VBO's that are out on the DX but from some of the older ones there isn't a prebuilt setup in the object that is for what your looking to do such as only pulling from a specific folder. Not saying it is not possible but will take some custom work to get there. I will do my best to follow up on this if I can find a solution.

To help explain high level idea around this is the get mail functions you see they are all related to the filtering of a folder but this is all focused on the general use of Inbox. There is a good chance if my memory serves here that the stores is a reference to the account you're aiming at. For example, mine being aaron.diaz@sscinc.com. There would then be folders under this store but from the version of the outlook VBO I am seeing there is nothing built for these types of functions which is the part I mentioned custom work would be needed.

Just to help here can you tell me what version of outlook you are looking to work with? For example, Office365 works different then office2016.
