Hey all, Brenda here!👋

You may have heard that the Professional Developer exam has recently launched, which got me thinking about how we define an “advanced” automation developer. It’s a term we use a lot, but there doesn’t seem to be one clear definition.

What do you think makes someone an advanced-level automation developer?

Is it the tools they use, the problems they solve, the way they think about automation, or something else entirely?

🤔So what do you think is the definition?

One thing that I think an advanced developer does really well is knowing how to evaluate all the what if's to create really robust automations. To do this, they would be really great with stakeholder engagement, creating the right connections and conversations to really understand what is being automated.
