Pearson Vue Testing Updates

Pearson Vue is closely monitoring the changing health and safety recommendations and operating restrictions by state, province, and country, and they are adjusting their operations and capacity parameters accordingly. In this challenging time, their priority remains the health and safety of their employees and testing candidates.

United States Updates:

Illinois PPCs:

Exam delivery for all programs (in addition to essential services programs) will resume effective January 15, 2021

PPCs in Chicago:

Must operate at 25% capacity (reduced from 50%) effective January 18, 2021
Affected candidates will receive cancellation/reschedule emails starting January 15, 2021
With the exception of programs that qualify as essential services, Chicago also requires exam delivery operations to cease from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM local time

California PPCs:

With the exception of programs that qualify as essential services, California requires exam delivery operations to cease from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM local time
Appointment capacity must continue to stay at 20%

Rest of World Updates:

Australia PPCs:

Testing candidates will be required to wear face masks at all times while at PPCs across Australia effective January 18, 2021 (test center employees will continue to wear face masks as they have been per earlier requirements)
