Hi,
The project has a requirement to highlight the difference between 2 version of the release regarding the change for:
- Process
- Object
- Data, data collection
- Anything that's included in the release pack.
As of now we manually compare using the System Manager - Process History - Compare Selected Processes, then click on each highlighted item to see what are the differences.
Is there a quicker/straight forward way of doing this? Eg. listed out all the difference in a txt report etc.?
We are on 4.2.47.0
Thank you

Hi Lu Xu,
You've hit a big topic there, one we are looking to resolve by providing a DX asset in the near future to resolve this. Essentially, the only other way (bar the one you describe to compare two releases) is to examine their XML structure.
The XML structure of Blue Prism is available within our Portal, along with a Utility Action for XML to allow this to happen solely in Blue Prism. However, custom code can also easily replicate both Best Practice and release comparisons.
This would be especially good for logging which isn't currently demonstrated within the in-product automation comparison tool.
I hope this could be of some help,
James
