Hi,

We have been rolling our Chorus users to the New Processor Workspace (from Classic and Legacy) and the Screen Image Capture (SIC) feature garnered some excitement, but there was some disappointment that it didn't also include the feature to actually perform the Screen Image Capture itself (unless we've missed something)?

Users therefore have to use the Windows "Snipping Tool" or "Snip & Sketch" and perform that step in those applications and then paste the result in the SIC, making it more effort.

It would be amazing if there could be a button directly inside the SIC that provides the same ability.  I'm sure users would find this feature much more intuitive and simpler. Thanks for listening.

Interesting.  This resource is more of a "quick create new image source" where you can "copy to clipboard" and then "paste" one or more screen shots as thumbnails before saving.  The snipping tool preferences and/or source for those images varies widely.   My initial thoughts are to see if it is feasible to configure a preference where you could more easily launch a tool - if you want to create a new snip - but this resource does not require you to create a new snip or screen capture to use it.

Thanks for the reply Karen.  Apologies for the delay in coming back (I've been on long term medical leave).

The ideal would be for SS&C's Screen Image Capture to actually have a optional button included to allow a screen image capture (SIC) to be performed from within the app - i.e. rather than going externally to an app like Windows Snipping Tool, which feels less fluid.

I suspect having the Windows Snipping Tool as a Resource launchable from Chorus (if that's what you're thinking?) wouldn't save much time, as it's available from the Windows Start Menu/Search and still requires you to move outside of the SIC to do this, but it's a fair suggestion.

Thanks for your consideration.
