In UK GIDs we have a Environment with 40+ Business Areas in a single environment (version 21.2.4.4). We are looking to migrate this environment to the cloud and move user community to Processor workspace and Communications. A element of the remediation will be supporting straight through letter creation (Currently Encorr and ST server processing). We currently find Communications limited on finalising a letter on the Design workspace because we have to select the letter from a dropdown when trying to complete the Automation element of Comms. It is my understanding that the communications print server prints one document at a time.  If for some reason the current print job is corrupted or slow performing a bottleneck is created for other released documents. The Chorus 'ROS' functionality currently requires that all Chorus users are given access to write and/or delete files from the template directory. PLRE considers this at minimum an operational risk, as there is no way to prevent users from deleting/altering the templates and/or adding further templates which are then available to other users. When we are generating a letter, it is required to close all the already opened word document on the laptop, this causes major issue as the users refer to multiple word documents at the same time as generating letter.   Request that working on Chorus, does not require closing of all the word documents.  ... Currently the communication function in Chorus can Not detect an e-mail send error. therefore, we can Not execute appropriate follow-on processes depending on the send status using the communication. It seems Send mail function has this ability but Communication is much easier to use and we'd like to have the same ability in the communication, too.
