Finding that using the Class Verification and Data Verification sections of Decipher could be improved by adding another button similar to the 'Submit' button to 'Submit and Next' where the next item in the 'Load Batch' filter is retrieved.

If you're using Blue Prism Hub you must have come across this error. Rather than having a static message for any error "Something went wrong" is definitely a bad idea. All the apps have their logs Hub should have the ability to read the log and display the actual error on screen so the user can understand the issue. Right now troubleshooting the Hub, Interact, BPD, and Auth Server is a cumbersome task.

Idea: To allow custom port selection between web-client's and RabbtiMQ communication in deployment. Or at least allow pre-selected specific ports such as 5671. Reason: The default use of 5672 port for RabbitMQ and Decipher's web-client is treated as vulnerable and insecure from cleartext authentication mechanism. Detailed explanation: Current setup of Decipher v2.1 is not supporting 5671 TCP port as secure communication channel between Decipher server and Rabbit MQ server components. The use of 5671 port is part of increased security feature to solve vulnerability (as per guidance and reported BP support of this source Vulnerability in RabbitMQ : disable cleartext authentication mechanisms in the amqp configuration - Stack Overflow) . Unfortunately, v2.1, web client supports only 5672 port from RabbitMQ and no other ports are supported.

When viewing a locked process or object, nearly every function is unavailable. Zoom cannot be manipulated, text search cannot be used. Opening action stages does not show given inputs and outputs in the lower pane. Find dependencies is not accessible. It also hinders mentoring- the developer has an issue and comes to you for help, you can't open the code and look at it coherently because some of the data you need is missing. This makes joint troubleshooting very difficult, if not impossible. Request that only modification type actions be prevented when in a view only version of the process/object. Perhaps just remove the "ok" button from opened windows and disable save functionality, but allow everything else (including save as) to be accessible.

Adding new environment variable is possible by importing a new release but if we want to update the values of environment variable then we have to do it manually. Right now it can't be done by importing the release. Please ignore if its already handled in new version of BP.

Blue prism product doesn't work with 64 bit drivers of OLEDB. We are upgrading to O365. There is an organization wide push to only use 64-bit installations. OLEDB is used to access excel and MS access database. OLEDB VBO is used as it provides efficient excel operations. Blue prism is unable to initialize connection with 64-bit OLEDB driver. This is a request to upgrade the product and provide support so that it works with 64 bit drivers. This is required to have true adoption of O365 and 64 bit. Refer below ticket for more details: Ticket: https://support.blueprism.com/helpdesk/tickets/208756

Currently, when setting an LOB value in a process design create web service, a configuration is required to set the value to the max character length of the LOB field. If this is not done, and the value is longer than the max length defined for that LOB field, the service will fail. The design tool should be enhanced to automatically truncate the value to whatever the max length is for the LOB field, so this design configuration is not always required.

Enhancement request to have the ability for the system to tell you if the user being disabled is an owner of a case like it does with work in the worklist. Product Management provided the following feedback as to enhancements in the works:
We have User Admin requirements in play right now and this use case has not been addressed yet.
User Admin is undergoing enhancements to support the ability to DEACTIVATE a user ... which is different than just disabling their status.
Today, disabled is both a temporary and a permanent availability status.
When you intentionally disable somebody ... it is because you want to take away permissions (security, privileges, configurations for various teams - like a case team). We check today to handle assigned work. We don't check on any memberships anywhere else. This is a good use case.

Issue - Nothing happens when clicked on a custom button (which triggers communications element within an automation service) on dynamic form at run time. No errors in Developer console as well. Attached the screenshot for reference. Description - the server code for the Communications task has some limitations around being invoked outside of the context of a Presentation Flow, which is the case here when the Automation Service that contains the Communications task is being called from the Dynamic Form.
The communications task is designed to run from an automated service in a presentation flow, not to be called from a form. Hence creating an enhancement request to overcome the limitation.
We have tried it with Normal form and is working fine for it., but not for Dynamic form.
Murali has created 2 models and tested it in the environment you are using i.e. 10.193.247.13- Comm Creation Dynamic Form Flow Comm Creation Normal Flow
Please have a look at those models.
Please refer the screenshots for better understanding. Client - AI4 Process Ltd. Client Env - Dev

It seems machines (runtime resources & workplaces) are always identified by their host names, regardless of system settings. In our case our settings were: register using short names, communicate using FQDN However, the registration considered short names and FQDN and caused issues after DNS name change that made manual DB updates necessary. The machines were verified based on their short names in BPAResource and Blue Prism crashed because of FQDN mismatch. The only reason to chose 'register using short names' is to avoid long FQDN names in Control. Therefore: 1. add settings for short/FQDN in Control that is independent on communication and registration 2. always register and evaluate FQDN and never short names only

The reset FQDN feature currently only affects runtime resources but not workplaces. When resetting FQDN for a specific <host> the value in FQDN column in BPAResource table is deleted but the line for <host>_debug stays untouched, thus preventing any debug sessions on this workplace. Please enhance the Reset FQDN feature to remove FQDN values for both: <host> and <host>_debug records.

When using Capture the process SMEs have to slow down the process to ensure Capture can record all the key strokes and tasks. ( we currently count to 3 between each key stroke to ensure that the information is capture correctly) Is it possible to speed up the Capture software so that we don't have to implement this delay ? It is very frustrating for the business process owners if we have to keep telling them to slow down or run the same Capture process more than once to ensure that everything has been recorded.

Often when I troubleshoot presentation flows and automation services the I built in Chorus Design Workspace, I find the lack of a testing environment is a challenge. I do not have the option to trace variable values, and place breakpoints in the code. The best thing I can do at this point is print out variable values to the history Comments, but this is a challenge with complex data structures like tables and arrays. It would be great to be able to simply place a breakpoint on a specific step in a presentation flow and flag which variables or other session state data that I would like to trace. When the presentation flow hits that breakpoint, the user is presented with a special breakpoint screen with all the session state data that is being traced. Perhaps there is a specific flag the user sets when they deploy the process to indicate whether or not to ignore the breakpoints. Automation services being run outside of a presentation flow wouldn't be able to present a screen, but they could print out session state data to comments using the same configuration. I'd be happy to work on some mockups to elaborate on this idea if it is something we want to pursue.

Currently when we have system upgrades & downtime we have to remember to retire our processes so that they don't try to run whilst those systems are unavailable. It would be handy as we often know in advance when these system downtimes are - and they are usually out of hours so we sometimes retire a process a few hours before downtime is set to begin missing out on time we could have used to process cases.
If we can add a timed retire onto the schedule. As in 'retire this process at.... and resume at....' so that it can run in time with these upgrades.

Currently renaming user roles in Blue Prism is only possible by mouse click. It should be possible to use Windows standard [F2]-key for renaming user role names (similar as it is already possible in Studio with folder/group names). This will also come handy when automating Blue Prism application (as being official suggested since no API is available).
