VenturIQ-Azure Storage Utility - The input is not a valid Base-64

DerekTeague

I too face the issue "

The input is not a valid Base-64 string as it contains a non-base 64 character, more than two padding characters, or an illegal character among the padding characters."

reported here

In my case, I suspect the issue is a tilde (~) character is the access key string as all other input strings (account name & container name) have valid characters.

@ewilson can you or anybody else advise how this can be resolved.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @Derek Teague,

So the output of your Base64 encoding action includes a tilde (~) in the output, or your referring to the original input data before being Base64 encoded?

Cheers,

Hi @ewilson
The Azure Account Key contains a tilde character, and I am 'only' assuming that is the reason for the error message.
Are you able to advise what the solution is to resolve this issue.
Thanks

@Derek Teague

That's odd as a tilde is supposed to be able to be encoded as the characters fg I believe. Have you tried reaching out to VenturIQ about this? If you click the button marked "Community Supported" it will actually set you up to send an email to VenturIQ. They're better positioned to troubleshoot their asset.

Cheers,
