How to read excel file which contains different languages and make it into a collection?

Hi,

I am having an issue while reading an excel file which contains different languages (ex: Japanese as:「CAT」とは、次のどの表現を略したものですか。), to make it into a collection getting as, '?CAT????????????????????'.

Can anyone help on this please?
