'Print to PDF' contents of Zip File via Blue Prism

VarindaS_

Hello,

I have a requirement in one of my process where I need to print the contents of a Zip file.

The manual process involves opening the zip folder through WinZip Pro and following the below steps:
  1. Select File, then Print option.
  2. Change the printer name to Adobe PDF.
  3. Select Properties and in the new box that appears make sure the layout is selected as Landscape.
  4. Select OK, and OK again and then save the PDF file.
The main objective is to print the contents of the zip to PDF. The zip contains xml files. I can convert them to pdf through Blue Prism but how should I extract the files from zip. The Utility-Zip in Blue prism is not supported for BP version 6.10.

Could anyone please aid me how could I perform these steps?

Hi Varinda,

I'm not familiar with Utility - Zip. Are you referring to Utility - Windows Compressed File? Ultimately, you can either use that VBO or you can build your own VBO that automates the unzipping of the file via the WinZip Pro UI.

Cheers,

Hi Eric,

I have looked through Utility - Windows Compressed File and it is compatible and could be used in my process. Thank you for your help.
