without the timeout applied to the object, the navigate stage (in the catch block in the picture) ends in infinite waiting.
That is why I even considered the time out setting in the first place.

My suggestion might not be very much helpful but I would check Parent document load in the wait stage and remove the time out in App modeller and see any difference in the behavior.

Hello,
I have an application where I need to choose a value from a combo box and sometimes this triggers a popup message.
The issue is that when a navigate stage chooses the new value the bot waits for the application to respond.
Unfortunately the bot gets stuck indefinitely because the application waits for response to the popup.
So I thought I'll switch the "application manager mode" to external to force timeout.
The time out works great. But there is another issue, once the timeout is reached Blue Prism refuses to try to do any other stage (navigate, wait etc.), it always throws time out exception immediately (even after going through recover-resume stages).
Does anyone please have any experience with how to properly recover from the time out?
Our BP version is 7.1.1.
