Blue Prism HUB will work without Force Encryption Enable in SQL?

Hi Team,

We are going to implement Blue prism HUB 5.1 in our environment.

We have crated the new Data base and a New Blue prism Connection for HUB.

We are currently not using any SSL Encryption certificates for the BP Enterprise.

Will Blue prism HUB work if we set the Force Encryption in SQL : NO ?

Thanks,

To address your question, in version 4.7 of Hub and later (including v5.1), a SQL Server certificate is required. Skipping this step of the installation process may "work" with some effort, but this would be an unsupported configuration and we (BP Support) wouldn't be able to assist with any issues that may arise as a result.

Please review this Knowledge Base article for steps on how to add a certificate for the SQL Server, and be sure to explicitly follow the Hub installation instructions in our product documentation to avoid any issues.
