Custom validations in design control

Can we add any custom rules or our own validation steps apart from the existing design control rules? Please advise how to import the custom rules.   eg. few of existing categories.

No you can only decide the level of control applied by Error/Warning/Advice. But the concept is worth considering and I suggest you add you suggestion to the Ideas and Enhancements section of this forum.

Thanks John for the reply.   If we can customize this,  we can add additional rules that enforces best practice implementation. I have already created this post under the Ideas & Enhancements.

At the very least the validation within Studio should be improved to add lots of best practices we have been training for many years.  It should be easy to check for wait stages left at the default 5 seconds, or descriptions (actions/inputs/outputs) not set, or unorganized application models, etc, etc...
