Is it possible to have global enviroment varables in a process/object?
When I untick "Hide from other pages in the process", it does not get saved. Once i reopen the properties of the data item, the box is still ticked.

Hi Jlo,
Yes, it is possible to have global environment variables in process & in objects.
Please check if that data item you are referring to does not exist in any other page in your process or BO.
If it is already existing in other page, then you will have conflict saving the data item.

For the issue, take one data item -> open & Untick Hide from Other Pages in the process option without select the Environment Variable option -> Select Ok -> Again Open the Data Item and select Exposure As Environment variable -> Then select the Environment Variable name from the Name drop dropdown list and do Ok.

Hi Praveen,
Thank you for your reply. The last method (i.e. unticking it before setting as enviromental) seemed to do the trick!
