I unfortunately have found myself in a situation where I have a font file in our Live database and a font file in our Test database that have characters manually merged into the font recognition for "Microsoft Sans Serif 8". Not ideal.
Doe's anyone know if there is a way I can merge these two font files together to create a master font file that can be imported and maintained?
I have heard the below method works, is anyone able to confirm, or suggest a better method?
1. Export font from Live environment
2. Export font from Test environment
3. Copy all the elements from one .bpfont file
4. Paste all these elements into the second .bpfont file
5. Rename this back to "Microsoft Sans Serif 8.bpfont" and import that into both database's and overwrite the existing font.
Not sure if I'm over-simplifying or over-complicating this.
Any advise would be appreciated.
